Our Story

Transforming Lives and Healing Communities

The Hub Craft fuses the wisdom of traditional cultivation practices and the efficiencies of modern technology to cultivate, innovate, and deliver the purest cannabis products to market.

At the advent of marijuana legalization, founder Howard Tanyu had the opportunity to connect and share stories with a cross section of cannabis customers and patients across all walks of life. These heartfelt, inspiring narratives of healing, happiness, and hope–bolstered by Tanyu’s extensive research–shape The Hub Craft’s mission: to make the life-changing benefits of pure, natural cannabis accessible to as many communities as possible in ways that are environmentally, socially, and economically responsible.

Tanyu assembled a solid team of tried-and-tested industry professionals with proven track records of nurturing organizational growth and success. In pursuit of products that deliver the elusive feeling of wellness, the team scrutinized every aspect of cultivation and manufacturing. They implemented a combination of processes and technologies, prioritizing quality, flexibility, and agility: a complete, vertically-scaled model from seed to sale.

Launched as a Minority Business Entity in Massachusetts in 2018, The Hub Craft is well-poised to disrupt, innovate, and raise the bar in today’s continuously evolving cannabis landscape.

Our Values

Purpose-Driven

Our time on Earth is finite. While this statement may be daunting for some, at The Hub Craft, it’s our biggest driving force. In cannabis, we wield powerful medicine with great potential to change lives. Therefore, we use our time and talents purposefully and with great enthusiasm, working together in service to our communities towards a healthier, fairer, more sustainable world.

Adaptable

From hiring practices to cultivation methodologies and beyond, The Hub Craft proudly aligns with the communities with which we are affiliated. We uplift neighborhood economies by actively recruiting and hiring local talent. As a Minority Business Entity actively involved in the state’s Social Equity Program, we provide education, training, and employment opportunities to those previously impacted by marijuana prohibition.

Gardening and working with a healthy soil microbiome have proven therapeutic effects on mental health–we enthusiastically encourage individuals living with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other trauma-related conditions to apply for positions at our indoor grow facilities.

Finally, we integrate organic matter native to the area into our cultivation process intentionally. This creates a robust ecosystem that complements the local environment, and makes for hardier, healthier plants that thrive where rooted.

Community-Focused

“Change is the only constant in life.” – Heraclitus of Ephesius

In the last decade, cannabis has evolved into a rapidly-growing, billion-dollar industry. To stay a step ahead of up-and-coming trends, we at The Hub Craft have implemented nimble, adaptable systems that allow for swift transitions into emerging markets. Our fully vertical model allows us to grow, innovate, and deliver the purest, high quality cannabis products directly to consumers. This leads to enhanced quality control throughout every step of the development process, and ensures the consistency and sustainability needed for long-term success.
